Editorial Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This page explains how MrRepo produces blog content: who writes it, how topics are chosen, how facts are sourced, how AI is used in drafting, and how corrections are handled.

Who writes our content

All posts on the MrRepo blog are written and reviewed by Gaurav Negi (Founder) and the core MrRepo team. We do not publish guest posts or accept sponsored editorial content.

How we choose topics

Topics are chosen based on questions we hear from small business owners — in support conversations, user research sessions, and feedback from MrRepo users. We prioritise questions that have no clear, trustworthy answer elsewhere, or where common advice conflicts with what we observe in practice.

How we source and verify facts

Third-party research: statistics from academic papers, industry reports, or credible publications are cited with a linked reference in the Sources section at the bottom of each post. MrRepo platform data: aggregate patterns observed across businesses using MrRepo are described explicitly as "MrRepo case-study data". Practical experience: observations from working with small business owners are labelled as opinions or experience, not data.

Use of AI assistance

We use AI writing tools to assist with drafting and editing. All content is reviewed, fact-checked, and substantially edited by a human before publication. AI tools are not credited as authors.

Corrections

If a factual error is found in a published post, we correct it promptly and add a note at the top of the post stating what was changed and when. We do not silently rewrite posts to remove incorrect claims.

Commercial interests

The MrRepo blog exists to help small business owners improve their online reputation. We do not receive payment from third parties to recommend their products or services.
